The inventory of rock art in the Region includes 28 new sites in Alicante.

The review of heritage inventory of rock art in the Comunitat Valenciana has been adopted in its first phase, 28 new rock art sites for the province of Alicante, reported today in a statement the Generalitat.

The director general of Cultural Heritage Valenciano, Paz Olmos, delivering today in Alicante the results of this first phase of revision of the inventory which was completed in 2010 with the study of rock art in the province of Valencia and in 2011 with the corresponding to Castell??n municipalities.

The presentation of this inventory, conducted by the Directorate General of Cultural Heritage of Valencia, was held at headquarters of the Consell Delegation in Alicante, an act that also went to the Professor of Prehistory at the University of Alicante (UA), Mauro Harris.
